Only one ramp open on Lavon. If you can get out there it is worth it for all the new goodies that are present with the water being so low. Targeted trees in 10- 14 ft and came up with some nice ones. We had to work from them but we managed 20 fish today. All were released. Minnows for the crappie and slabs for the sandies. Had 6 crappie in the 15" range with one almost topping 2 lbs. We also got one Racing strip. Sandies were caught out past the last warning float at the discharge. Thousand 5 count was the ticket followed by a few jerks. They hit it on the fall in 24ft of water. We got into some 15"ers.

Those are great pic's ! Is there a simple way to download your pictures? The site will not accept the pictures I down loaded from from my camera to my computer. I've always been a knuckelhead with computers. My motto has always been " Control, ALT, Delete " If the damn thing locks up. Thanks Russell

You need to make sure they are not in raw format. They have to be in. JPEG or one of those equivilant formats. Once in the correct format, I use photobucket.com. it is really easy once they are uploaded to that site to get it to tff.

I would imagine Avalon, and maybe East Fork. Collin.

That site is not accurate. I showed up at the preferred and free ramps and they were all closed. Avalon was the only one open. And the lake is at least 8 ft low. I would say more like 10 ft low. According to the lady running the gate, they are looking at closing Avalon soon.

Tickey was open this morning. I think if we don't get rain, will be closed next weekend. Caught 10 keepers this morning with about twice as many dinks. Brushpiles in 15 ft was were I found them today. Jigs out fished minnows by far with Black and Chartruse was my lucky color.
