Here's a testimonial that I received last night from David Babineux-
"Tobin, I received your dvd. I think it will be very helpful on my next trip. I see a lot of the errors I was making. Anyway I liked the DVD and can't wait to get out on the water again.

Trout action continues to be steady in the good to excellent range - both in the surf and the back bays reefs.
It's good time of year to go fishing !!!

What are you guys doing when there isnt any active bait or birds around and most areas are indeed 'dead water'? Just fish the reefs? And if so, artificial or live bait ?
Also, what hours of the day are typically not productive at all?

you can use either. as long as you are fishing structure you at least increase your chances. This late fall time can be the toughest if there is much of a shrimp crop.. shrimp don't have much oil in them at all so the slicks the fish make this time of year are really weak and easily blown apart.
on your second question as to the hours... there aren't any hours that are typically unproductive... it can happen at any time any day. As the tide shifts through the whole bay there is a time delay... ie... if the bay is full at high tide.. the tide will start going out at the jetty first... then mid bay about an hour later... then upper bay an hour later than that.. the river channel may be as much as 3-4 hour delay... Also, look at solunar tables and maximize your times around the major and minor feed times.. it's not perfect, but it's a tool and it hold pretty close most of the time.. maximize your time fishing the major minor and fishing when the current starts or stops at an area. hope that helps.

Cork or carilina rig. Live shrimp, perch, shad, or mud minnows. What ever I catch in my cast net.

Yep they are all good. did you know that trout also eat little baby crabs too.. but if you have one of the others it's a better percentage choice.
Here's another testimonial from G Segovia-
"I bougt the catch a limit video from troutsupport and it has really good info, my boy is 8 year old and he watched the entire video and ready to go fishing. Ill be going out to t he bay next weekend. Will see how it goes. When is another video coming out; It would be nice to see one on redfish."
