Tony, you have to look at it from Johns perspective. He is working hard to bring more to the catfish industry. And im sure he is busting his butt too!

John I bet your already doing this, but its as easy as a phone call to Ken to get a deal arranged and boom, win win for all of us!

Tony actually I think the Central Series has the biggest turnouts...Either way, you get back to the same old thing....whose gonna drive 4-5 hrs when all they can win is a few hundred dollars. Yeah so there are a lot of teams that dont fish for the money. But then maybe thats why there are so few teams. What a series needs is sponsors! People who are willing to take big risk! Just think of how many more people we would have if at the classic a SeaArk was given away! I would love to run a series, in a few years I will be financially stable enough to do so.....GONNA NEED A PARTNER ARMY!!!

I hear ya smoky. They may have a better turn out and good for them. I Hope they always have good turn out. I quess im just venting because last year i could not fish every tourney do to my schedule. This schdule Ken has allows me to fish every tournament and that makes me happy.

I dont see Ken changing his schedule, 2 much planning already put into it, especially if hes already gotten permission from parks..etc...

The sponsor thing as I understand it is a catch 22. The sponsors want a big turnout but for a big turn out the guys want a big pay out. I figure if we can get the people coming everything should work out. It's stuff like this that is the reason I am glad I am not in charge!! With this amateur side of things happening I hope more weekend fishermen will come join us. I got into the tourneys last year to learn a little from the pro's and it also makes us fish lakes we wouldn't normally fish. I for one learned alot last season and can't wait for this one.

All this tourny talk is making me get the blue cat fever !!!

I don't wanna fish, as my nephew says, he wants to go catching!!!!

I feel happy to have all these options to be honest! The industry is evolving and the demand is growing.

I can't fathom how much work John and Ken have done to provide us with these tournament options. My hat is off to both of them!

And you guys are right, all this talk about Tournaments is making me miss the lakes right now.

Where do I sign up for amateur. I sucked it up big time last year. They need to move the tourneys to Fridays, that's when we caught our best fish.

I'll split gas with ya, i've never done any good over there.....but then again I dont fish those lakes regularly!

Maybe instead of amateur/pro lets do regulars/foreigners
