That is right Tom, and I think think the entry fee may be reduced for the amature division, I think that will maybe bring out more locals to fish, and the more people that fish the better the turnout,

I heard it said last year that some people didn't fish them because the same people win every time, that was partially true, Jared & Cliff kicked butt last year, they are really good at what they do, and it was fun being in competition with them, it has made me a better fisherman, and I am looking forward to doing it again this year.

Ken has already told Tom & I we are not amatures this year, and that is ok with us, we are looking forward to the challenge!!!

How will they differentiate?

I believe on how you have placed in other tourneys or haven't ever fished a tourney

I like lavon and cooper if it was my choice. I am going to try and fish a few tournaments this year. Last year every tournament was on a work day.

I am not sure, I think you can sign up for either, but if you are a guide, have won tournements, or maybe even placed in the top 3, or Angler of the Year, Rookie of the year you will have to fish the pro division!!!

I hate to say for sure I am only guessing at where the cut-off is for the Amature Division, I think he just wants to make it fair, because there are Fishing Guides that fish the tournements and they are supposed to be better at finding fish than the amatures

Where is Arrowhead? I don't feel like googling it. You Beanie hippie.

arrowhead is right outside of wichita falls its a great bluecat fishery that actually has a larger record than tawakoni i know several people that catch 40-50's out there regularly and they arent hardcore catfish guys they fish for bass most the year and cats about a month or 2

i'm a little biased i would rather fish pk and arrowhead just because the rest are a drive for me and these 2 lakes are an hour or less away

The amateur and pro thing sounds like a good idea but i dont see that being practical. Not unless a lot more people start showing up.

I would like to see PK or arrowhead on the list

All these lakes are relatively close to DFW so it would be a good time for a bunch of tffers to come on out and meet each other.

To be the best ya gotta beat the best! I dont want no stinkin amateur division. Assuming the stars align and I actually win a tournament I wouldnt wanna feel it was watered down Id want it to be against a great turnout against some of the best catfishermen/women in the state. I say host some very small entry fee /fun tournies for people who are on the fence and that will make them be more comfortable competeing in the others.
