Look closer next time, there are several good sized, flat islands in that area. Even with water as low as it is right now, they are still complete islands.

Brady just figures that if they get into trouble, somebody will at least find them floating in the lake eventually. But really, the good thing about rivers is that float plans are pretty predictable, and if you have a scheduled pick up time that you don't make it to, somebody knows to come looking for you. Which still may be enough time to expire.

But having a Spot as a "I'm in deep $%" button, would be much more conducive to not dying than relying on a float plan, our nothing at all.
