Let us know how it goes. Was below Granbury Sat afternoon -- low water not much happening. Managed a few smaller fish.

Here's the rub: Hit the water and it was nice and high. I was surprised. Running about 250 cfs at I-20 and the river. Fished under the bridges for a little bit. Moved downstream with dog in tow. Managed to land this smaller bass on a double rabbit streamer: Submitted to Dublin for approval. Managed to strike out for the next hour or so despite good flow the fish just weren't in their usual spots. Clarity was down to about 6 inches or so. On the way back up to the bridge I cast my trusty orange deer hair slider. Same one from the last brazos post. I dead drifted it across the river with a class 1-2 sink tip and the line went tight. Fish on and a solid fight ensued. In the end dog, spey and I prevailed: That is all. Class dismissed...

Why would you take your dog to the river to spay him? You don't have to do EVERYTHING Bob Barker tells you, you know.

You shouldn't oughtta done that. He was just a boy. mmmhmmm
I crossed the Lampasas (dry), San Saba (low), and Colorado (scary low) rivers yesterday on my way to scenic Brady. Y'all had better get your grass skirts on and get to rain dancin' or we're going to be stuck with the trout tank at the boat show for our fishing endeavors.
