Has anyone used Academy as an internet tackle source? Do you get your order in timely fashion? Lots of back orders or other hassles?

I have ordered also and I got everything fine. Just watch the shipping charge. It is kind of high.

When Tacklewarehouse was out of stock on the Curado 200E, Academy still had them. I didn't have any issues with the order and it arrived early.

Academy has a few things I can't get from Tackle Warehouse. Besides TW has enough of my money for now.

I've had so-so service from them. They have been rather slow to ship to me. In fact I'm waiting on a package from them that was supposed to take 2-5 business days and it has been over 8 business days.

I have ordered from there 4 times. I ordered the same crankbait 3 times and it was wrong all three times. The image for the color didn't match the name. I just kept them and ordered again thinking they were out since it is a close out item, and sent me these instead. then I would see they are avaiable again and ordered hopeing they were the right ones. They are paying for the shipping back since it was a mistake on their site

Just use Tacklewarehouse and be done. Wise advice...but, sometimes, u have to stray..
