Can't go wrong on L'ville man. We drifted about 10 different areas last night and pulled fish on every pass. No monsters, but enough to fill my belly for awhile.

Alvarado is good for channels. Nothin' big in that lake from what I hear. Never fished it, but lots of guys around my area do. Loaded with eater sized channels. If you live in Ft. Worth and want a real good cat lake with a chance to bag a beast, Eagle Mountain or Worth are your best bets. My PB came out of Worth, and it was almost 12 lbs. Nothin' to frown at. The same day during the tourney the winning team pulled a 53 pounder. You can't eat fish out of Worth, but there are some hawgs in there.

Alvarado is a nice lake, but don't know if water level is good for launching a boat. Good luck!
