i have some deer sausage and meat from the 2009 season that has pretty bad freezer burn. just wonderin if this might would work for bait on a trot line for catfish? anyone tried this before.

I would toss it in the water before I threw it in the trash. I would be more likely to just remember where I tossed it and use some cut shad or worms or punch bait close by.
