I make mine "new" Often. I just completely rebuilt all my Curado 200B's. Hard to beat perfection.

It seems like the e is a better line so I'll stick to my 5 and 7.

I have an E5 and a E7. I love them HOWEVER, I'm having a little fling with my new LEWS Tounament Pro. Coming from a Curado owner, you gotta check this reel out. IT IS AWESOME!!!

y did shimano take a bearing out of the new curado g's? and they might make them in Malaysia. if this is true, shimano will lose me as a customer.

They took 2 actually, but both were out of the handle (one for each knob), so really they were the least important anyway.
For all the gear ratio options, I'm least upset at what shimano did with this one. You could tell someone one has a bearing in the handle and one doesn't and I bet 10% or less could pick them apart consistently.
I like the profile of the new reel better anyway.

Curado's did not have bearings in the handles until the E's anyhow. Most folks did not even know that I can tell very little between the Citica E and Curado E as far as the handle smoothness.
And again, Shimano has been making reels in Malaysia for years.

yes they have been making reels there. But it used to be reels just under $100. now stradics are made there and hear complaints about the quality control on those reels.
Still think it is dumb u can line up the curado e7 box right next to the chronarch e7 box and everything is the same. well everything except the chronarch weighs .2 oz lighter.

Just like I have said many times. The Curado and Citica E's were the best buy on the market for a quality reel. Shimano Realized that and just found a way to charge more for it. Now we can all pay 20 bucks more for still the best buy on a quality reel. The Chronarch E. The New Curado G and the Citica G will still outlast and outperform over time most any reel in that price Range. What folks are forgetting is those two reels incorporate what was excellent in the old B and BSF series with a more up to date profile and ergonomics.
