Guy,
We will be at Sandy Creek Marina for late registration and our weigh in will also be there. BLT pays out 80% on a 1 per 5 entry in our 2011 fall Division tournaments and we guarantee $10,000 for 1st place in our four 2012 Region Championship tournaments and we will offer two Legend Boats valued at $45,000 each ($90,000) to the winner of our Grand Championship tournament in 2012. The top 50% of each BLT division and or any team that enters 4 of 5 tournaments in any division qualify for all 4 of our 2012 Region Championships and the top 50% in any of the 4 Region Championship tournaments qualify for the 2012 Grand Championship tournament. We pass on 100% of the sponsor money and prizes to the anglers who qualify for our Championship tournaments.

More information is on our BLT website.

Hope to see you there,
BLT staff

Thanks for the info. Is it a flight number start or can you be on your spot before official start time.

Guy,
Early entries check our website at www.budlighttrail.com one week prior to the tournament (click early entry tab)to see the posted start time and we assign boat numbers beside their name. If you enter late (the morning of the tournament), we assign a boat number at the registration site and give you the start time during registration. The registration site is also posted on the website below the lake on the early entry tab or on the Schedule tab on the main menu after you select the BLT division you would like to fish.

All BLT division tournaments allow anglers to trailer, get on the water any time they wish, go to their fishing spot but they must wait until the start time before they begin fishing. The end time or stop fishing time is always the same at 3pm and the angler must be in line with the catch before 4pm. We allow the anglers to use cell phones to stop and start but, to be safe, they should check in a little early before 4pm because we use the Tournament Director's cell phone time as the official weigh in cut off time. The start fishing time is determined 1 week before the tournament and posted on the website. If anglers register early they do not need to come by the registration site.

Rules can be found under rules on the BLT main menu tab. We use random polygraphs to help insure our rules are followed.

We hope you can join us....

Thanks for your interest.
BLT staff

If we have already pre - registered, what time can we get on the water, what time do we start fishing, what time do we stop fishing and what time do we have to be in the weigh in line?

Thanks for the info!

Red Cobra,
Start time is 6:20am (cell phone time) and you can get on the water anytime and go to your fishing spot. You must stop fishing by 3pm and be in line with your catch by 4pm at Sandy Creek Marina.

Good luck,
BLT staff

We will see you at weigh in Charlie!

Looks like most of us with bigger boats are going to have to launch at the dam.

If I get too hot can I jump in to cool off? I know the rules say I can't fish off of the boat, but with temps expected to over 100 degrees AGAIN, I may need to keep cool somehow.....

Thanks for the info!!! flame
