How is the fishing on Leon right now? My parents live on the lake and I know it's low. I believe the only usable ramp is chockablock at this time.

I ran my boat on it a couple weeks back to test out a new lower unit. It's low, low, low. Be sure and watch out for those shallow points that come out midlake. The area toward the dam looked promising though. I heard that with no pressure at all, the fish were biting pretty good.

Its extremely low and dangerous I fished it this week and we have to idle all the way to the main lake and we are hitting stumps in the middle of what we thought was the channel around chockablock to the main lake. Its a gamble with risking your lower unit but the fish are skattered and really not much to talk about. Be careful if you go out there, when you think your good to get on plane go another 500 yards then try it. Id hate to hear of someone getting hurt out there.

its dropping about 1/2 to an inch a day. But everyone on the lake hase good green grass and they keep extending their pump lines to allow them to water and suck it dry. Just my 2 cents.
