I have two different Hotmaps Premium chips and the older one has more detail than the new one. I went onto the Navionics website and updated the new one. The detail is still not there. Has anyone else seen this? I may try another brand. Any suggestions?

I noticed it on Ray Roberts. Haven't compared many more.

I traded someone on this forum my 2010 platinum for another 2008 premium because of that.

Jeff;
In order to tell if you have the latest map data, is there a way to tell what version a chip has loaded on it?

Jeff;
You might also want to tell folks that they can't load Adobe Air on computers that use Windows 2000 so they will not be able to update the new chip on these older computers.
