I went again today to Navasota. Fishing was slow today, it took about 2 hours to catch my limit. I guess all the rain yesterday might have thrown them off a bit. The bait fishermen (same one I saw last week) was catching them quick but they were slow on the fly until after 5:00 when it started to get dark as the sun was going down. The fishing picked up quickly then. Even though it was slow, you know what they say, "The worst day fishing is better than the best day at work."

Still catching trout at Navasota. Caught 10 today with my new covert(my Father-in-Law). He did really good with the 5wt on his first go out. Had a fun afternoon.

Millerwb,
I've got a few new flys to test so I may be heading that way pretty soon... P.S. the whites have started their run up the yegua so I might forgo the trout.
