what you you like better ??
I love them BOTH but the Blacks seem to have more meat on them.
the Whites seem to be longer
the blacks seem to "thump" harder and fight harder ...
but " in the grease" they all taste the SAME......
I am resting and letting the Sac-au Lait be today......

I am resting and letting the Sac-au Lait be today...... I agree. Those big blacks are fun to catch. The big whites are awesome. They all taste great when fried or in coubion.

I like both of them. I like whites because they are usually bigger than the blacks. I also like blacks because they fight harder.

The blacks are certainly thicker and have more meat on them. I like both of them but I do like the blacks better. Luckily we catch about 90% black crappie here on Cedar Creek fishing where we usually fish. Not so sure about them hitting harder or not but either way I sure enjoy catching them.

 a 16 inch white but it's shoulders were "thin" to me  and good black BUT the black has as big of a filet on it big "shoulders"

When they are in the grease you cant tell white from black... They all be good.... Cooked 300 feelays last nite for a 1 year retirement, TxDOT frend... Boy was it hot  but had lots of fun, plenty of crappie and beer... What a deal.... 
Crappie fishing... what else is there ??

Machine Love the toe rings be careful around Loose ropes,fishinglines and thorn patch's also be careful stepping of ladders seen a man get his finger pulled off one time when he slide down a access ladder!
Blacks seem to have a more balanced fillet across the size spectrum though whites eat as well!
My Ma'ma Told Me Fish'in was like a box of Chocolates!

Blacks definitely fight harder. Love catching big whites though! The mouths on them are way bigger!
