Well it is Aug and we live in TX, and yep it is very hot! This weather can melt anglers and fish, but we did manage to catch on Twak & RH this week!

Twak 8-4-11

Better get up very early if ya want to make a Twak trip. Fish schooled up pretty good on mid lake humps, but it was over by 8 AM. Kahuna Spoons and top waters were the ticket. FastGuy managed some on 5" Nana Sassy Shad as well! After 8 AM it was time to hunt'm down. Matt helped with his down rig'R! It's hot and catching can get tuff!!! Take plenty of water and back off of diet milk til ya get to the AC! Fish hard, u can rest at the BAR!

RH 8-5-11

WOW RH was a bit crowded SportsFans! Decided to avoid the boat shows and found lots of schooling sandbass with a few hybrids on the WEST side of lake! Had Terry,Nathan,Garret on the SuperDuck for a quick trip!

Stayed in 19-20' of water and took SandBass on FastAlleys,1.5oz SlabAPalooza's and top waters! Found lots and lots of bait stacked up with fish near by! Look for cow birds and black cranes on the shore line!!! Might try to sneek out next week and avoid the RH Traffic Jam!

Looks like y'all had a great time! Trolling is a great way to cover some water and keep a little breeze goin on a hot day, just remember to give the chosen ones lots of space.

some of them chosen ones needs to go to white rock ..no big motors over there!!lol ...funny thing when we fish humps in shallow water the lure is approx 15 to20 ft behind the brick and we be in 14ft of water and just wear e'm out.....I some times think the " big motor thing" gets to much credit for fish just moving....surfacing fish is a TOTALLY different picture..I don't fish the boat shows anyway...much rather find my own fish and not have to put up with the hassel good luck to everyone!!!!

they chose themselves LOL it's all in fun!!! there is plenty for everyone !!!! I think some of them are when we are setting up in the middle of Febuary on a blue spot and they come out of the cove about 60 mph about fifty ft from us and wave like "look at how fast we can go in timber" it happens all year long not just during the summer bite....just not as many out when it's below 32 degrees!!!!!!!!!!!
