went out to caleveras lake trying out my new boat, surface temps were 103 at the back of the lake and 96 up by the damn. what would temps be at 10 or 20 ft. does hot water rise like hot air ? how the hell you catch fish in these circumstances

92 @ fork last night. That was at 10:30pm. Fork is on fire right now. Fish are ganged up and easy once you find them.

I just went in to the bathroom at work and a urinal was running. When I approached it I could feel the heat from the water. I have also noticed that I am turning the shower valve much further to the cold side. I am saving money on heating water but do not think it is going to come close to offset cooling the house. Hubbard was 84.2 on the surface at 10:30 on Sat..

This water temp is only good for catfish.Everything else hates it.I have never seen the water temps so hot since 1980.

This water temp is only good for catfish.Everything else hates it.I have never seen the water temps so hot since 1980. Also if you guys don't remember, back then and I'm willing to bet also that with these water temps now, outboards wasn't/can't cool themselves like they should. In the 80's you heard about motors locking up due to the hot water, would'nt surprised me if it happens again this year.

I heard Parks and Wildlife is going to start spraying the lakes in West Texas because the cats have TICKS!
