What do ya'll consider a trophy channel catfish. The biggest I've caught is 12 lbs.

Yep 12lbers on Tradeinghouse usta be pretty common never caught one over 7 on Waco

in most waters in texas i would say a 10#'er would be huge ... i think a 9 is my biggest & that's over 45 years of fishin'

I think a 10+ would be a biggun. My biggest is 12 lb. Can count on one hand the number of channels of 10 that I've seen caught.

Definitely put 15+ in the trophy category.

I agree that 10# gets you in to trophy range on channels. Most bodies of water won't produce this size very often, though that will vary from one lake/river to the next. I don't imagine that there's very many reading this that have seen 10 pounders on a regular basis.
