This is another original pattern. It was also submitted to 365 Streamers. It is a bit more colorful than I've been doing lately.

George, this is the second fly I tied like this. The first one was good, but the tippet separated on me. (I made the mistake of grasping the shoulders to tidy the head, and whip finish the fly) I wet it down to see what it would look like in the water, it is fantastic. You talk about a cool baitfish pattern, with vibrant colors. It looked great. This fly does take a long time to do, true. The ones you do of a pattern that you aren't entirely happy with, those are the ones you fish.

Thank you Johnny. I will tell you how they do. It is too blasted hot for me to be fishing. I will have plenty of flies to try out once it cools down though. I think this streamer is going to be a good one for fishing. I think it will get the attention of a fish, and the profile when wet is awesome.

Thank you Hill. I used a silver tag, orange floss, with copper ribbing, followed by black silk. To me it makes it pop. Copper isn't used that often for tinsel, but I really like it.
