Started out on a drift today at 615 am with my buddy Mike. Nadda. ( 1 dink channel cat actually )

And a 15 lb buffalo fish in the cast net.

By then the small group of boats started to part ways and search on their own.

Hit one spot and had a look around and it looked great, but they were large gizzard shad. Hit RP and about ten birds told me where to have us cast at. Told Mike to cast fast, they will be gone in ten mins. They gave us 7 mins. Boxed 18 and headed to another spot.

Got to the next spot at about 8 ish. Then by 830 we had our limits of sandies in the cooler with a few hybrids.

Stayed on the school the whole morning.
Started to target the hybrids and got 7 with 4 pulling the hook after a good drag pull. Caught sandie after sandie 2-4 per person per minute or less. Hybrids slowed down and just chatted with the other guys in the boats that joined the party. Left the water around noon. Over 400 sandies of every size boated.

I was one of the other boats to join you this morning. I was all over the lake with little success. But thanks to you for inviting me and my friend to join you. We caught 2 nice hybrids and limit of nice sandies. THANK YOU

It was all morning till I left they were still catching them! Fun times.
