Anything with ammonia works pretty good: meat tenderizer, some window cleaners, bleach, others I can't think of.
Seems like the Yellow Jackets have been fiesty this summer. Maybe it has something to do with the drought, dunno.
Anyway, I've been using "AfterBite" and it seems to work pretty good.

Anything that is a base in terms of PH will work. Many insect stings are acidic, and the base cancels it out.

Anything that is a base in terms of PH will work. Many insect stings are acidic, and the base cancels it out. Beat me to it!  Clorox will neutralize the acid from fire ants pretty well.
That's why they call it fishing and not catching!
