i finally got off the water at 430 pm today. The wind laid down and it was time to call it. Should have ended the day when i woke up.

Ya'll talked me in to it!!!!! I will wait til sunset before launching for the nite fishing this evening. I wanted to spend a little time looking at the graph in some deeper water that is a good ways from the ramp and my nite time spot but WTH....I will be more refreshed for those thumps tonight if I wait a bit!!

Boy I just got done pushing away from the table! I put a brisket in the smoker at 7:45 am and took it off at 5:45 pm. It was so hot I didn't even need to build a fire in it! JK! Ha!

Left one in my cubholder of my truck one day.
Learned two things: They will burst and it's really hard to get coke out of cloth seats.
That's why they call it fishing and not catching!

Yes its me.
After getting my apron tail clipped a month ago, trying to get ideas to beat the heat, just thought it was time for the NANCY to appear.
The last crappie I caught had a big hat and a neck cooler on.

Ha! I went this morning with my son and caught 3 pretty good ones. I put them in the livewell with the recirc on and I released them alive and well at the ramp. I was very pleased that my livewell kept them that good in this heat. Us girls hit the road by 11am. It's probably the last time I'm gonna go until it cools a bit.

That soda can reminds me of the time I took Pillsbury biscuit dough to the lake one summer to try some carp-fishing. Those tubes sound like a shotgun going off when they explode.

I had an entire 12 pack of cokes explode in the back of my Durango while I was driving. I thought I'd been shot multiple times. The cleanup really sucked.
