20 - 30 Pretty much any temp 30 - 40 I was pretty good to 100 or so 46 Screw it, life is too short to be that miserable trying to have fun.
I'll wait till it breaks and gets back to the mid 90's.
This winter I will be there every weekend no matter how cold.

Ever noticed, It aint hot till you load the boat and hit dry land. If they are biteing I can stay out all day. Nearly every time I finish up it seems to be that way.

Never - Drink lots of water, wear white long sleeve Under Armor, and a straw billed big brim hat, and head out early. If you stay in the heat from Morning till night it won't bother you.
Its when you go from 75 degree AC to 105 degrees outside when you get heat shock.
I can fish all day long in this heat as long as I prescribe to the above remedy. Beats work anyday. I would rather fish in the heat than below freezing and 20+mph winds. me too...although I would change the long sleeve to a short sleeve Under Armour fishing T shirt! My wife and I were just having this conversation yesterday, about how I can go out and stand the heat all day. I told her that if I start in the morning and go through the day, it doesnt bother me too bad. But just like you said, when you're sitting in an a/c house then go out at 1:00 to go fishing, it's almost unbearable.

Bring several bottles of Gatoraid or water and get over it. It's mostly psychological unless you're getting up there in age or have some sort of health problem. I'll take 110 over 32 any day. i go through at least 4 bottles, but i agree if your in the right mindset, then it wont bother you

My screen name will give you an idea of what I do for a living. I say it's to hot to enjoy yourself fishing. Come (attempt to) sit on iron in this heat, and then tell me you want to come home and go fishing. I'm sure I can find a body harness to fit ya!

Turn up the thermostat in your home during the day. I'm keeping mine at 82 degrees all day long. At night, I turn it down to 79 degrees and use a fan. That helps a lot when I need to step outside. Leave the house around 5 AM and fish until 11 AM and call it a day - you won't notice the summer temps.

This was me at Ray Bob last Saturday, and it was only 100 degrees. However, the summer of 1980 I never let the heat keep me from fishing Lake Limestone every weekend daylight to dark. Of course it helps that I was only 19 back then and had a great spot that produced 20-30 keepers a day. Just ask Bill Wilcox about that honeyhole! We didn't let the heat stop us.

As long as its not windy Ill fish till it gets down into the teens. I love to fish is December, and January. I just layer up and Im good to go. TFP

It's so bad I went out the other night just too see if my truck mods allowed me to pull better. Ended up catching a few good fish in a short time, left anyhow 45min later around midnight because it was still too hot.
My friend's father is bordering 90. He says if it's too cold to be in a boat at midnight soaking wet, it's too cold. I don't know if he had this in mind.

Never. Drink water, eat, and wear sunscreen/protective clothes. ...and skip the 1-3 pm shift, if need be...go take a nap (or better yet, a slice of pie at Tiffanys)..

Like someone said it never really gets hot untill your packing up and loading the boat to head home at 4 or 5pm. I like the long sleeve, because I seem to be more comfortable when I can keep as much sun off me as possible. Plus trying to keep from the Skin Cancer bug biting me down the road. I wear as much white as possible and I do not feel as hot.
