Well I walked out to my boat this morning to put on my new registration stickers and found a Diet Dr. Pepper can that I had left on the front deck. Check out the top and bottom of the can on the left.  When I went by the bank it said 109 F. and I guess that it might have gotten a little hotter on that deck. Another view.  I am very thankful that it didn't blow up yesterday in my boat!

What do you use those diet Dr Peppers for?  Bouy Markers? I sure hope you don't drink that stuff....  Thanks Zack for sharing....

It's 5:22 pm Tuesday 8/2/2011 and it's 109 at Cedar Creek Lake. I have a very accurate weather station so it's pretty close to being right on the money. I can see my boat house from here and the water is now about 10 to 15' out past my last pier and dropping fast. We must be approaching 5' below normal pool with no relief in sight. And today makes 32 consecutive days in triple digits temp wise.

My God! Even the little storm wave out there is moving north east
and will miss the gulf as well. Us that fish lakes in texas it's not good. I have a fishing trip planed thursday threw sunday at lake palestine and now rethinking that in fact!

try the temp at the bottom of the hill at the buck creek boat ramp on ray roberts and then your temp after you climb the 62 steps to the top. but at lest you dont have to look hard to find a place to park. i aint doing it no more in the summer, 111 degrees in the big city of tioga.
