I'm usually in a white/red pontoon boat. I'm easy to recognize. Usually wearing a buff head gear (looks like a bandana with a flap in the back) and have a 9 inch long red goatee. If no head gear I'm generally shaved bald and you might not see me because of the reflection off my dome. :P

I was out at the spillway sat and sun. Saturday I went by myself to check out the fishing and I had a blast chasing the sandies with my canoe so I told my wife and she wanted to see what top water fishing was like. Sunday we got up and headed out at 6. We launched at EM marina and waited to see what happened and nothing so I started scanning the water.Bam! there they were in the area around the keep out buoys and the spillway but we were still getting hits all around.They finally came out by the fishing dock so we were on them.Then I casted and right when the lure hit the water a black bass came up and took it then landed it on the canoe.I found out the wife is not a fan of the chase the school of fish type, she said that she enjoys bobber and bank fishing better. Her analogy is Lure fishing = ADHD fishing and Bank/bobber fishing = normal fishing cause lure fishing you always have to be doing something or you are not fishing. I thought it was funny but kinda the truth. She did enjoy watching the fish boil(her first time) cause she thought when I said "the fish are boiling" that I meant that the waters hot and there is no fish.My chest is still sore from all the paddling but worth it.

I cut one hook off to speed up the unhook process.
