For bigger on average size and numbers I would choose Worth. I like Lewisville and Grapevine as well. this

If it wasn't so low I would say Arlington. Take the time to learn it, but once you figure them out you can catch some good ones. May not catch the numbers like you do on Grapevine but the quality is def better I'm just not buying the take time to figure out the lake with this body of water. There is seriously something wrong with the fishing over there. I've been out on the water with some of the better sticks on that lake and their results are poor also. There should be no excuse right now with the lake being 8ft low why these fish are not stacked up. Today I fished 5 different main lake points with brush first thing in the morning as well as some isolated concrete blocks off shore, and a few ledges. All of that accounted for zero fish. I stand firm on my beliefs that there are just not that many bass in that lake... Tons of white bass but few largemouth. I'm not going to lie, haven't caught 1 sand bass out there. Caught a few nice hybrids though. I was doing really well flipping docks with finesse jigs back when the docks were in 4 ft of water. Off some docks was catching up to 5 fish of one dock. Buddy even boated a 10 pounder off of a dock this summer. Also was doing really well on the wall with 10 inch worms and doing good fishing points and ditches for the schooling fish with flutter spoons. Everytime I went out there this summer are best 5 always went 15+lbs. Here's a few of the nice ones.

Benbrook, this lake has been pretty much shut down at least half of the last three years due to low water. There aren't big numbers of fish in there but there are big fish. Just my opinion but somebody is going to catch a big one out of there before long. But then again,I could be wrong.

The good thing about squaw creek is the surface temp 100 or more usually matches the air temp. I will fish this lake for cats this time of year.
One you build and fish with your own hand built custom rod you will fish with nothing else!
