I want to see it work when someone has been on a spot for 45 minutes with out a bite and then flip the switch and see them start catching them. Then I will buy one.

I have one and have used it twice. I have NOT been able to trigger a school I'm graphing but isn't biting. I have not noticed that it turned fish on that were inactive. I have noticed that if you're on fish that are biting, it will concentrate the school directly underneath the boat, and it will keep them biting, longer.

I don't know if two trips is an adequate sample size, but that's an interesting observation, nonetheless. What setting are you using when you're around the feeding fish?

Didn't seem to help Vandam at the AllStar. Just another gimick to catch fisherman more than the fish! No offense to the inventor's or company but at some point we need to say enough already. $50,000 and up boats, 250hp and up moters, $3000 graph/gps units, $500 reels and rods! just so people can fish tournies and maybe win enough money to almost break even for the weekend. All this money, time and gimicks to catch a fish that most people throw back anyway. Don't get me wrong I spend a lot of money on fishing but at some point you gotta draw the line and go back to fishing for the pure joy of fishing and being outdoors.

Reading both sides of input on the Hydrowave, it makes me think back to the days of the Biosonics. Technology and design may have changed a bit but it is based on the same concept. As I recall, the Biosonics device didn't go over very well so I ask, What makes the Hydrowave so different in operation that would push it to have better sales and viablility in the market place rather than just catching a handful of fishermen?

The thing I want to know is that this is tournament legal. Some technologies like this have been deemed illegal. If it is legal, I am going to be very interested
