I realize this is very last minute, but I'm looking for an available bay fishing guide (Rockport Area)to take myself and my step-father out on a full-day trip Friday, August 5th. This late in the game I'm having a difficult time finding someone who is not already booked. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated!!

You might try to give Jay Watkins Jr. a call. I know that Sr stays pretty booked. If yall don't mind throwing artificials he is very very good. Plus he's got a new Haynie catamaran.... its a very nice rig (jaywatkins.com). He may be booked but it's worth a shot. You can also try George Rose at texascoastfishing.com

To catch some good fish try Don or Petra Schultz of Green Hornet Guide Service. Just fished with them last week and we did very well. phone is 361-205-1544

Jack Culberson runs 4alarmfishguide out of rockport. He's a retired Firefighter and a great guy. You will have a ball and he knows how to get fish. Google 4 alarm fish guide.
