Went out around 7am. Saw a nice boat show up south of the island, ignored it and hunted for my own fish. Marked a few schools that looked like they might be feeding but I couldn't get a bite. Checked north of the island.. nada. checked midlake humps saw some but couldn't get a bite and the wind kicked up hard while I was tryin to stay on the humps..

Was giving up and heading back to EM Marina when I saw a lil flock of birds right outside the breakwater. Went to check it out and they were schoolin on top in little pockets all over hte place around the breakwater. the schools were moving around fast and only popping up here and there. Managed to boat 7 and hooked up with another 10 that got off somehow. most fish I've ever lost in a day like that, dunno if the were dinks or if it was me screwing up the hook set or what but I was cussin up a storm. either way, kept a 12 anda 13incher that's gonna be dinner tomorrow after anotehr AM trip for some more

I hit up the same spot this morning around 8 am,All I caught(10) were dinks but I just wanted to take the canoe out and see what I could catch
