This will be the last Bonus Fish of the Contest. The Bonus fish for week #5 is the Redear. The Bonus word is "WAVE"

These are from Lake Conroe today, both caught on a Berkley minnow in "Chartreuse Shad"





The Redear pictures are of the same fish, just thought I'd enter it for the bonus fish and try to get me a bigger fish in the main contest

You have got one heck of a fishing hole there. That longear is a big one. May have a little gill in the family tree but looks like longear is the dominant species. Really nice catch on those fake minnows.

First he catches a super Longear that measured 7.25". on a Berkley Minnow. The fish was caught on Lake Conroe.

Second he catches a nice Redear that measured 9.75" to Win the Week #5 Bonus Fish Round. The fish was also caught on Lake Conroe using the Berkley Minnows.

And if Winning two Bonus Fish Rounds was not enough he slides into fourth place with the same Redear at 9.75"

Super Job "Lunker Repellant" on some very great fishing coming down the home stretch.

Coming down the home stretch. A 9.75" Sunfish will get an Angler into the Adult Standings. A 8.75" Sunfish will get a Junior Angler on the Boards in the Junior Division. Let's see if we get any changes in the standings this final weekend. Also there is still a Striped/Hybrid Bass Bonus fish still active.

Well, Im kicking myself right now. Took the boy out to Dunlap to do a bit of bluegill fishing just for fun. Had a camera. Had a tape measure. Even had my little card that says "Lake" on it. Caught this guy. even measured him. Right at 11". caught on a beetle spin. Put him back in the water, and THEN I remembered this contest. Oh well. Learned my lesson ha ha. Gonna go do some bass fishing in the morning, who knows. maybe Ill have a chance to redeem myself.....

Yeah, its alright. I Knew better. Just getting the hang of this contest thing anyway. I may try again next month.
