My deep cycle trolling motor battery finally died. Where's a good place to get a new one?

Interstate makes a good battery, I just recently bought a new battery from Walmart and they seemed to change some things in it, it seems to last longer than the older batteries. We will see only time will tell.

I guess they use those "pegs" to give the battery a lower "profile" for tight fit situations. They're a pain in the neck. Mine has lasted for over 5 years now, though.

NAPA sells deep cycle marine batteries which last a long time but you will pay for them.

Delco. I believe it's the MF series. Maint. free, both cranking and trolling, arounr $85. They last years if you keep them charged up. Been using them since 91 when I got them in my Ranger. I change them after about 5 years and they still have lots of life left. The set I have in noe are 6 yrs. old and I'll change soon.
