Plan on doing some night fishing on RR tonight.

We think we will focus humps and tank dams at perhaps 20 feet but looking for shad as the key to them being there. Big Texas rigged worms or jigs will probably be the main focus

Has anyone been doing ok on RR and what are your suggestions based on recent fishing there?

Thanks Guys

Caught two DD off the same deep tank dam at Ray Bob while night fishing. One in June 1997, the other in May 1999. In recent years the only consistent night bite I have been able to get has been on rocky shorelines around milfoil on lower end of lake. Good luck, there are still some big girls in there, just not as easy to pattern them (for me anyway).

Fish very, very slow on main lake points and humps. Follow creek channels around the mouths of creeks, fish bends and ledges in 15-20ft depths. We have only been out once at night this summer at RayBob, but got two at 6 lbs a piece, and a couple others just shy of 5 lbs, and one dink. Good quality at night but not a lot of bites, at least for us anyways. 10" power worms in dark colors do the trick. I always love the night fishing whether they're biting or not!

Good Luck!

if you think your fishing slow enough slow it down even more ...some of the recent bites we have been getting the bait is soaking still for several minutes ..drop shots c-rigs and t-rigs
