I heard today that due to the low lake level that there are stumps exposed that pose a threat to the lake?? I also heard that due to this that most/some of the boat ramps will be shut down?? is any of this true?
If there is water...I will find the fish in it

The lake is really low, but does not effect the fishing. Just have to be careful in the middle of the lake and around the points due to sand bars which extends out a ways. I know that the boat ramp at holiday is still open and the State Park is prob still open.

Thanks guys....I spoke with the State Park people and they informed me that their ramp will never close cause they had the cove trenched out so during harsh droughts it can still be used...The only thing stopping us is if the Govt shuts down on the 4th then the park will close.

We are still less than 4 feet low. It got 11 feet low several years back. We could still put in at the state park and the 2 mile bridge. As far as closing the lake, it is only a rumor. The lake is actually a lot more safe to run if you are worried about timber. You can see it all right now. It is at its most dangerous when we are full or high. They are all under water then. Right now it is pretty safe, but stay off the points. The little hump by Holiday is just under water, so dont tear out for the spillway or you will run aground. Tall man area and humps in front of cedar will be just under the surface before too long. Just take it slow if you are new to the lake OR...... Hire a guide

we launched our pontoon today back to anchor inn if they didn't close the lake at 11 plus like matt said...

Dang Matt you're supposed to talk about all the dangers out there right now and that no one should risk their lives or lower units for the ever elusive T-wak Hybrid.

LAKEGUIDE.....I've only been on the lake twice but I noticed the westside of what I quess are the holiday humps is shallow, 2 to 3 foot in a small area. Is it better to run the east side of the humps?
