Looks like it might miss us. O well west tx needs it more than here. You can say that again! Of course we could always use some rain out west in the desert.  What's left of the Monahans Perch pond.

I have my doubts, but I pray to the good lord let it rain in feet around here not inches.
I bet it could rain 12inches and the ground would soak up most of it.

I am from Andrews and remember fishing Spence as well. Back in the day it was one of the hottest striper lakes in the state.
Ivie is were I pray it runs off into.

Pray that it stays a tropical depression and does not get too bad. We want the rain, but don't want any of the refineries damaged or shut down. Doesn't matter. They'll go up on gas anyway cause it MIGHT damage one!

Maybe it'll be a nice big tropical depression stage when it gets to us and just stall out. After you guys out west get some let a few rain clouds break free and hit us over here in the east area.

We're hoping to get some good rain from here to West Texas, but the cotton farmers have to harvest quick, before the rain ruins it. The irony is that they planted double the amount of cotton because it was so hot and dry up North, and this cotton crop is the best they have ever had, they say. So let's hope they do get it bailed before any big rain!

Daddystog,you will be in east texas pumping gas and cisco & hubbard will be full ( i hope). Maybe tree will let you come back to fish some, good luck in east texas.

if thats even close to the actual track of the storm, I will stand out in it and drink a beer the entire time if it means it'll stay on that track. Heck, I'll wash the boat, truck and rocks on my house if it'll keep on keepin
