Need to find some one to rebuild a tilt trim pump on a 1991 40 hp evinrude its leaking around the shaft at the top of the pump most likely the wiper seal. I have called several local dealers and one referred me to another and that one said he had only done a few and could not give me a quote said it might be 1 hr to 3 or more hrs. labor. any help would be good. Sorry but not in your neck of the woods. I had the same issue back in May . Leaking was visible at the wiper.
I bought the parts and contacted the repair shop around the corner from me.
If I remember total cost was(parts/labor)$175 approx. Prolly little cheaper if I had purchased parts on-line. Hope you find someone soon

I was gonna suggest doing it yourself. At least try if you can't figure it out then you can go try and find someone to do it for you.

Just get all seals their. The piston has to be removed to change seal and wiper in the top cap. Get parts at: http://shop.evinrude.com/
