I just recently made a cast a may not have had the button totally pushed down and it made a nasty noise when i casted. Its still casts an reels okay but when reeling it feels not so smooth any of you guys know what i should look for inside the reel that could be damaged?

I bought 3 of them about 5 months ago and have been lessed than pleased myself...They have clicking noise when they are being reeled in and I had a problem with the handle that I just had SW parts repair yesterday...For the price they want I expect more from them and Im a BIG Revo fan and personally have had better performance out of my lesser priced Revos I own.

I have been happy with mine but just dont know what gear i sheared a tooth on or what elso to look for. I took it all the way apart yesterday and all the teeth on all the gears are fine dont know what to look for next. Thanks for your reply Stax i try an avoid sw parts because you always walk out with more than parts!

I just had this happen with a curado like 2 weeks ago. A spring needed replaced. Joe Armold at Armadillo reel repair at lake fork fixed it for me. If i remember right he also told that if you keep casting with the spring like that it will wear down the pinion gear.
