So, I had a friend who launches a john boat off the back of his truck. Anyway, this time he launched right past the bridge on the way to port A from A Pass. A couple guys got their trucks broken into, and they picked his for the get away vehicle.

So you guys be careful and make sure to hide valuables, keys, etc, while your fishing, crooks know you'll be gone a while and you make easy targets.

Lots of wharf rats all along the coast. The rats run to the water's edge and pile up there. Of course the meth problem is bad too and lack of jobs....assuming that they would work if offered.

As previously stated don't leave any valuables in your car, do not leave rods or reels in the back of your truck or boat. Don't leave tackle where they can get to it or see it.

They've even been stealing stainless props off of boats.

Sounds like a good place for a "bait vehicle". Truck loaded with camping/fishing equipment, observed from covered area near by.
