I took five kids out to Rollover Pass with the hopes of catching the front end of the annual flounder extravanganza. We fished right in the pass with live mud minnows from high tide until dark...not a bite. There were probably 150 to 200 other people there and we saw only two keepers caught the whole time. The only positive was a couple of guys catching huge croakers near the bridge. Apparently, the action has not started yet, report the owners of both bait shops. They figure that the hot October weather messed things up. Go figure...maybe by Thanksgiving.
