Well It seems like every year I get a few trips to canyon lake. I guess it is hard to get the wife and kids to vacation in Three Rivers or Zapata. But But I must say Canyon does offer a opportunity to cool off with a mid day swim. Well fishing was solid in the morning and solid in the afternoon. The midday produced a couple of fish. We where catching fishing on senkos, topwater, CB and just about everything we threw. Caught a few nice ones as well.

Sounds like fun and good fish. Keep the pics coming.

That top one has a huge head on it. It looks like it would push 7lbs.

we've had trouble landing anything above 2lbs on Canyon. what were you guys using an if you're really nice where?? seems like we've tried dumping the tackle box in the lake with mediocre results...
