I wanted to take my brother in law out and do some sand bass fishing but ended up getting into a 3 string tourny instead. Started off by checking some ridges and humps for fish and found them in about 20 ft of water on a hump. Fished the area for and hour and half until the smaller fish moved in. Then decided to check another spot and caught 3 nice size keepers. My brother in law suggested we go back to our earlier spot and try it again and spotted fish. Anchored down and caught several keepers over 2 hours. Overall total fish count was 80 fish, 46 in the box. As far as the tourny went took 1st and 3rd. All fish caught with ole ugly slabs with ole ugly flies tied above.

Sounds like fun wished I had been with you but too hot for old bones. 42 this morning and suppose to be a high of 76 so pretty hot here today.

But I picked a good one to be gone. We have had 2 days in the low 80's.
Been shipping a lot of slabs and it only takes three days from Montana.
