I am going to a beach house I have went to the past 4 years. There are 3 main spots I know are good for sharks at low tide. The beach house is on an small Island about 2000 acres. There is a bridge going over the river to get across to get to the island.
1. My first spot is beside the bridge. Which is going over a main river going into the ocean.
2. My second spot is right on the river but on the beach and out towards the ocean a bit near the beach houses...it may be deeper than my number one spot. I have caught a 2 and a half foot shark here. The current/river is strong here.
3. My third spot is on the other side of the island down the beach. I have caught a 3 foot blacktip there last fall. At low tide I can walk on a skinny sand bar about 100 yards and still be knee deep and throw off to the left at the steep drop off.
I am going here for a week and want to get a shark at least 5 feet. So I plan on trying each spot on the first 3 days at low tide to see whats happening and what size sharks I can catch. Please give suggestions of where I should fish throughout the week...etc.
Thanks!
