Fished deadmans hole saturday morning. My buddie and I limited out on Redfish (one at 31 inches) and go a spec. We freelined live mullet. Took about 2.5 hours to limit out on redfish.

Went home, ate lunch, cleaned fished and headed out for Nighthawk. Got some live shrimp and tried freelining them into the deep droppoffs. Ended up switching to freelining mullet (very large) and letting them swim around. I dident catch a single keeper. One hardhead and one redfish about 10 inches long. My buddie on the other hand ended up landing 5 spec's. Sun went down and we went home.

I personally think the fishing is better if not the best it has been all year at both places. I do believe this comming storm has really turned the bite on.

Hey AustinBrian,

Your last name wouldn't start with an "H" would it? Just curious in Cedar Park. Thanks.
