I already know this will get some interesting responses...

My Lady has never been crabbing so I thought we would take a trip to the coast and catch a few while we are there. I need some help with some locations to take her to. Anyone caught any big Blues lately? Have not set a string with a chicken neck on it since I was a kid. Thought it would be fun for the day!!

Crab boil, Corn, patato and some BIG Blue Crabs follows later that night...

Its been reported in the galveston paper this past week that the crabs have migrated to the surf.Anywhere along the surf in galveston or bolivar peninsula should be excellent crabbing right now.My wife and I caught a cooler slap full 2 weeks ago at rollover pass in about two hours of crabbing. We were using those inexpensive two ring hoop nets and catching half dozen at a time in them. They were migrating through the pass and we caught em just right.Just get ya some chicken necks,a dip net and wade on out there and go to dippin. Tight lines

If I can get away from the Gulf I have a muley and an elk tag for colorado

Caught crabs in the surf yesterday while bottom fishing with dead shrimp. Caught 3 or 4 like that. Big females w/o berry eggs.
