I caught this today while crappie fishing. I have been trying to catch a 10 plus bass for as long as I can remember. I didn't have a scale but I think I might have got her today. The measuring board is 24inches long and she is longer than that by an inch or two. I would guess her at 10lbs or so. I caught her on one of my crappie rods with a minnow and 6 pound line right in the middle of a nasty tree. Not conventional bass fishing tactics and it was live bait but WHO CARES!!! It was a he** of a fight and it took a while to get her free from the junk but I won. I let her go so she can create more big fish like her. Sorry for the bad phone pic but I was of course by myself with no one around.

I'd say at least 7 pounds. Don't think that's a 10 though, nice fish for sure!

As you all know ther is no big bass in Roberts.
It has to be Lake Fork !! Nice fish, but like Rudy said - There ain't no bass in Ray Bob.

I was fishing on Ray Roberts next to a school teacher from Howe, and he hooked a big bass while crappie fishing - minnow tied on with very light line.
The big bass broke him off right at top water. He was screamin "Did you see that!!!"

25" or so fish, probably 8-9 pounds for sure. Nice catch, as much as we try to catch them on our skill, nothing wrong with "lucking" into one here and there in my opinion.
