Surely more people went fishing so far this month than what is posted. Only 13 thread starters........and some of those were asking for info, not "here's what we caught today/last night etc." Lets hear it from yall that are close enough to be able to enjoy an afternoon or so a week. I can be down there in about 2.5 hours, but would like to see more people catching fish to encourage me to do so. If you, or your buddy has gone out in the last day or so, let us know how they did, what they caught them on. Not begging for honey holes, just encouragement. OK OK, I'll get off my soap box now and go back to fixing supper........just wish it was fresh fish. Dusty
I told my "X" she was fat...she said she was "big boned", told her I had never seen a fat skeleton...hence..my "X". Now, I fish, therefore I eat.

Yeah, unfortunately, this topic isn't used for reports. They should just merge it with the open salt water topic.

If I report that I didn't catch any fish because I didn't go fishing...does that count? LOL

Does it count when I report that I didn't catch any fish when I did go fishing.....
It's rough and sandy surf in galveston right now.

Hey seaAg those type of reports do help,me and a buddy we're supposed to head down to Port A this weekend but we didn't go due to the conditions so we we're wondering if Gtown has the same conditions and obviously they do I understand and agree with you centerdriver when I want to get my saltwater fix I always start looking for reports here good or bad it lets me know what to look forward to either I get excited and all pumped up over great reports but if the reports ain't that great I know I didn't waste my money so I will head to the pond to fish.We are like our own news reporters for the hobby we love we keep one another informed on WHEN,WHERE,AND HOW ANY NEWS IS GOOD NEWS especially for us fishing junkies who have to make that long drive from Dallas so thanks for the reports and keep them coming.

Fished Port Oconnor jetties this past Friday. We ended up with a 39", 33", 31", (2) 28", and a 27" Redfish. We also caught some gafftop and a few black drum. It was a fun day fighting the wind. Also ate at Kathy's for some all you can eat fish and shrimp. Man it was good.

Sorry it took so long to respond. We fished inside and little outside at the mouth of the jetties. We used fresh dead shrimp on the bottom.

You can wade the bay side of rollover. It's kinda deep at first but it gets shallow. As far as posting reports I am getting my boat next weekend I will post reports for you good or bad.
