Reds runnin. My wife and I caught a 26" apiece on Thurs. and she caught a 30" on Friday and I got a 27" and a 40". All on cut bait. Tide full out. 
P.B. Red 40in.

Had my first trip to SLP a few weeks ago and it was great except for the fool's on the pier. Here are a few pic's. Thats a pic of my very first bull Red and a pic of my very two first Speck's. The camera was dropped in the water so I dont have a pic of my FIRST redfish which I caught in the surf on the bayside of SLP.

Nicky,
I was using a shad imitation crankbait, cant remember the brand name as it was my buddies, on my medium/heavy action 6'6ft Penn spinning rod/reel combo loaded with 15lb BG. It was still alittle to heavy of a setup for lure's that light but I managed to catch about 14 Speck's that evening.
