Used to fish there in the mid 90s for bass and caught some nice ones. But by all accounts, it's all but depleted of a LMB population these days. I think it is still stocked with cats though...and maybe trout too in the winter.

There used to be good catfish in there. It's been 2 years since I've fished it though, so I'm not sure about now. The last time I fished it was for trout in winter 08. Used to fish it often, caught Bass, Cats, Crappie and even a few big carp.

Negative. That's why there are no bass left. LOL Well depending on where ponds are some catch and release are still cleaned out because people still catch and keep them. Guess if its kind of out in the sticks people do that, in a sub division or big community area then less likely. I would be interested in going if anybody wants to join me sometime this weekend?

How does pond catfish taste? Do people soak the fillets in butter milk?
