Can you upgrade a 2 stroke to DFI? 80 Merc 150. Thanks.
 I fish on a 14 ft piece of plastic.

Thanks Arsonist. I was thinking the new 2 strokes had replaced the carbs with DFI (or maybe it is another acronym). I know we can't do 4 stroke.

Yes DFI motors are alot cleaner burning engines made possable by hi pressure compressors, air and fuel injectors, better plugs and many other things all crammed under cowlings. The terms an oldie but a goodie comes to mind on the EFI and carb models. Nothing wrong with them at all but with technology now days and the price of fuel for one thing new developments in engines have came to open arms.
