I know that Stabil should be used in all motors and Ring Free should be used in Yammys, but what does everyone use in Mercury Pro XS in addition to Stabil?

This is supposed to be techron and it fights carbon build up and cleans injectors. So I have been told smirk I have not had any issues using it.

QUICKLEEN

I use Formula X2 (obviously) in all my engines. Have never had a single fuel problem since I have been running it.

Ever compair Sea Foam to Ringfree or Quickleen?
Sea Foam 1oz- per gal $10
Ringfree 1oz- per 10 gal. $30
Simple math wants to tell me that if both were 12oz bottles, 1 can of Sea Foam would treat 12gal and the same 12oz bottle of Ringfree or Quickleen would treat 120 gal.

What ratio do you use the Ringfree or Quickleen?

Quickleen and ring free are used for carbon deposites only. Sea foam can be used as a fuel stabilizer as well as keeping you injectors clean. I think it also helps fight carbon build up

Quickleen-1 oz per 6 gallons gas
Blue Stabil-1 oz per 6 gallons gas
Seafoam-1 or 2 oz per 6 gallons gas

This is shown in the Mercury Motors section of Bass Boat Central.
I am trying it along with using ethanol free gas whenever possible.

Seafoam is excellent for cleaning both carbs and injectors from gunk and other [censored]. Used it on a friend's car as his lexus was running rough. In two days, the rough idle was gone.

My experience is that you only need to use it on a periodic basis. Once a month on a racing bike, esp. if you let it sit in the carbs/injectors for a day, and then start it back up
