HAS ANYONE BEEN TO CEDAR BAYOU IN THE LAST WEEK OR SO. I PLAN ON GOING TO CB THIS WEEKEND AND HOPE TO HAVE THE LUCK I HAD IN NOVEMBER. WE WANT TO CATCH SOME LARGE FLOUNDER AND REDS.

Water is very low. Make sure you have some help in case you run-a-ground or if solo you can drift and fish at the mouth at Mesquite and wait for someone to go in. Preferably someone that looks like they know what they are doing. Follow behind about 50 yards and if he runs-a-ground then make the appropriate navigational change. Didn't have any problem with grass so keeping assassins clean was easy. pumpkinseed chartrues. Cedar Bayou Flats this time of year is very good; sometimes it's not necessary to go all the way in. I love Cedar Bayou and sure wish they would dredge it. If your putting in at Goose Island maybe think about hitting St. Charles. Save some gas on the bayou run and maybe (my opinion) get into some decent trout.
